It’s not often you experience spectacular scenery and wildlife with a famous Canadian painter.
This week’s video gives a sneak peek at what a handful of people may see this summer on the Great Bear Rainforest expedition cruise. On British Columbia’s coast, this 6.4 million hectare rainforest contains mountains, fjords and estuaries that many grizzlies, spirit bears, salmon-eating wolves and marine mammals call home. Two of the guides on this expedition will be Robert Bateman and his wife Birgit Freybe Bateman.
This expedition with Canadian Geographic and Maple Leaf Adventures happens June 19 to 27, 2014, with proceeds from the trip going to support the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, coastal research and conservation. For more information, visit Maple Leaf Adventures’ website.
