After nearly 170 years, one of the missing ships from the 1845 Franklin Expedition has been found. Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the discovery of the ship yesterday, noting that this is "a historic moment for Canada." The ship was in 11 metres of water in the Queen Maud Gulf.
