George Fischer has travelled through dozens of countries and all across Canada, producing 48 photography books over the past 25 years. For his latest project Canada in Colour, he wanted to do something different. He divided 100,000 images of polar bears, landscapes, cities and serendipitous moments by their colours, narrowing them down to the best. He says he hopes this book will “encourage people to discover for themselves their own colourful Canada.”
“It’s a pretty spectacular country and we’re lucky to be here,” he says.
