Have you ever wanted to meet someone who explores for a living? Here's your chance: Canadian Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Jill Heinerth is speaking at the the Vancouver Aquarium on February 22

Next week will see Heinerth kick off the B.C. portion of her We are All Explorers Canadian school tour, aimed at inspiring youth to get outdoors and discover the world. For adults unable to take part in the school activities, Heinerth will be at the Vancouver Aquarium to present some of the stunning images and captivating stories she's collected over her career as a diver and underwater caver. Afterwards, she will be available for a Q&A and meet-and-greet.

Heinerth will share stories about risk management, technology and synergism as she recounts her exploration inside Antarctic icebergs, beneath the Sahara Desert and deep inside submerged caves around the world.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10.
