IT'S A GREAT TIME OF YEAR TO ...
Swing through the treetops
SUMMER is the perfect season to connect with your inner Tarzan. Strap
on your safety harness and start climbing, jumping and swinging more
than seven storeys in the air on one of five high-flying adventure
trails offered at Acrobranch Courses in the leafy forests of Mont-Tremblant,
Que., about 1½ hours northwest of Montréal.
You can spend up to three hours in
aerial bliss on 100 challenging activities,
including shimmying through a series of
hanging barrels, balancing on rope bridges
or climbing rope walls, stepping across
horizontal ladders and riding on flying snowboards. And if sailing through the
branches on zip lines stretching more than
half a kilometre doesn't sound exciting
enough, you can also attempt the treetop
courses in the dark. Night expeditions,
illuminated by headlamps only, are available
this spring for those seeking that additional
hit of adrenalin.
Cost: $20 for children (1.05 metres tall,
over 5 years old); $28 for juniors (1.4 metres
tall, under 18 years old); $36 for adults.
Group reservations are also available.
For more information (including winter
activities in the aerial park), visit
www.acrobranche.com or call 1 866-50-
ADIKT (23458).
