I happened to read the comments on Kerry Regan and "My Home by the Fraser." I have transferred this song from record some time ago, filtered out a few >scratches and restored it to CD level and have it on my iTunes. |

Here is a list of a few Canadians songs that you might know about or have in your survey:
Beautiful Nicola Valley by Evan Kemp and His Trailriders (I have restored this and put on CD) Blue Okanagan by Buddy Reynolds (this very good song has disappeared off the map: I only have it on a worn-out Aragon record).
Blue Canadian Rockies by Wilf Carter is a good one Does anyone remember a song called Along the Cariboo Trail which CKNW used to use in an ad for jeans back in the early 50s? |

Lyrics and sheet music for many songs by British Columbia composers are available by searching British Columbia sheet music. Music and lyrics are there for My Home by the Fraser. It is a beautiful song. I might be doing a solo of it at a concert this summer. I was surprised that I am the only member of the choir that remembers the song. GM |
