POLAR BOUND CONTEST Congratulations to the winner of Polar Bound – Antarctic 2007 Iain Bauer, 15, of Alberta, won this year's contest with the poignant and original ideas he presented in his essay, Antarktos. Iain will spend 2 weeks traveling in the Antarctic in December. An honorary mention goes to Sarah Michaud, 17, also from Alberta for her beautifully written and illustrated book, Dear People of the North.
