Preston Street runs through Centretown West in Ottawa and holds a rich history for the city’s Italian community. This 1920s photo shows the rows of houses that were home to many of the city’s Italian immigrants on the street that is still known as “Corso Italia” and is continues to be considered the heart of Ottawa’s Little Italy.
