Home is where the art is

When Katie FitzRandolph was a grade-three student at
Fredericton’s Charlotte Street School in the late 1940s,
art class meant taking notes about why The Blue Boy
by Thomas Gainsborough was a particularly good painting. Later, a
space in the basement became an art room. It was "a huge improvement,"
FitzRandolph says. "We got to do the painting."
