Green Team Challenge: Rules and Regulations
Judging for Prizes: The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and notified by 5 p.m. E.S.T. on June 5th, 2002. Decision of the judges in final. The top five (5) most effective and innovative submissions will each receive a new Lumix LC20 digital camera from Panasonic, cash value of $599.00; the next five (5) runner up will each receive a Jack Wolfskin bookpack, cash value of $89.00. Winners will be notified on June 5th, 2002 and receive their prize by courier.

Draw: Fifty (50) submissions will be drawn and receive Canadian Geographic's Sacred Spaces video, cash value of $19.95. The draw will be held at Canadian Geographic in Ottawa on Monday June 3rd, 2002 at 9 a.m. E.S.T. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question administered by telephone, email or by mail. The winners will receive their video by mail by June 10th, 2002.

Eligibility: To enter and be eligible to win, you must be a resident of Canada, and not an employee of, a member of the immediate family of, or domiciled with an employee of any division of Canadian Geographic, The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Key Publishers, Adventure Canada or their subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies. Any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of a prize in this contest in Québec may be submitted to la Régis des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling.

The prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or extendible, nor can they be redeemed for cash or combined with any other promotion. By entering, each winner agrees to sign a standard release document, and consents to the possible use of name, address (city only), and photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by Canadian Geographic.

The odds of being selected will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. All entries become the property of Canadian Geographic, which assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final.

This contest complies with all federal and provincial laws. Contest is void where prohibited.

Deadline: Entries to the Green Team Challenge must be received by e-mail by May 30th, 2002.
