What role should the Canadian Navy play in modern conflicts and current world affairs?

Before you can answer that question you will need to gather facts about the role of the Canadian Navy in the past, present and future.  Use The Canadian Atlas Online to conduct your research.  After you have gathered the facts, you will rank current global conflicts/situations in order of importance and form an argument to defend your opinion.  Finally, you will write a brief summary paragraph evaluating the Canadian Navy’s role in modern world affairs based on the information that you have gathered.

Section A:  Gather the Facts!
