Media buzzing over 2014 Franklin Expedition search

With the 2014 Victoria Strait Franklin Expedition less than a month away, Canada’s media is buzzing over the search for the lost ships from Sir John Franklin’s 1845 Expedition.
The Toronto Star and the Ottawa Citizen are reporting on this year’s search, which will be bigger than ever. Private and public partners will head to Victoria Strait to look for HMS Erebus and HMS Terror, with more ships and new technology increasing the search area that can be covered, raising hopes the vessels will be found.
